16mm
I got a new lens and I spent a couple of hours running around the “Wiener Prater” taking it for a little try out. The nice thing about the Prater in the winter is, it’s really really empty. And with all the colourful buildungs I thought it would be a great place for the new lens.
I actually took some large format photos here with a friend last year. We did scan them, so maybe I’ll show them some other time.

Apollo in Glasgow
I actually thought I posted these photos when I took them, but I must have forgotten.
In october I flew to Glasgow to take photos of Icebreaker on their Apollo tour. They’re doing a europe tour this year and they needed some new photos. This isn’t actually the finished product but I thought a collage would work quite well. Not to sure if some of the darker photos fit in their, they may need replacing.
Taataa,.. first “street” blog entry of 2011
These photos were actually taken a few months back, but I never got around to developing the films, but now finally they’re here. These photos were taken on the 26th of october 2010, Austrias “Nationalfeiertag”. Ring any bells? I did a blog entry on the event last year, in case you missed it or want ot refresh your memory…

Tho this entry is all about the very “austrian” spectators.
The “assi” job
I remember Ulli(Ulrich Eigner, Austrian social photographer and former teacher of mine), who worked for one of those big advertising photographers at some point, telling me that the best thing about working in advertising was that he knew he never wanted to work in advertising again. I guess I had to experience that myself but I think it’s safe to say that I can take the same with me from my job as Ulli did.
Nice two months tho and good pay but I guess it just wasn’t meant for me.
The following photo was taken at a cover shoot in a school in december.
Do it yourself!
So I haven’t actually developed any films yet but I did get around to finally building a light I’ve wanted to do that for a while. Just before christmas we went to “Baumax” and bought a bunch of stuff and I also got some lights and now I had some time to take some shots with them. First I experimented on myself, then I got Julia to do her thing. I quite like it.
Back from England.
We spent 2 weeks in England. It was great. I’m afraid i only took about 10 photos.
This was one of them and it wasn’t even taken in England.
Happy new year!
I just got an email from wordpress, telling me how my blog did in it’s first year. Quote from the “stats helper monkeys at WordPress”, “This blog is doing awesome”. Didn’t get around to posting a lot in December, but I’ve been really busy. Which is great, because it’s been keeping me occupied. But I do have quite a few rolls of film lying about, which I should develop soon.
